Job Overview

ENPULSION is looking for a Controller (f/m/x) to join our Finance team. This role goes beyond traditional controlling. You will be a strategic partner for management and operations, owning critical financial processes, driving meaningful improvements, and enabling decision-making through transparency and actionable insight. You will work closely with cross-functional teams - especially in production, engineering and senior leadership - to shape how we plan, measure and steer financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and continuously improve the company-wide budgeting and forecasting process.
Maintain, develop, and optimize internal and external financial reporting.
Drive internal improvement projects, with a strong focus on information structures, data quality, and process efficiency.
Actively participate in cross-functional, company-wide projects.
Analyze the value flow across engineering and manufacturing and provide optimization insights to management.
Support the team with ad-hoc analyses, including complex data queries and deep-dive evaluations.
Serve as a trusted sparring partner by providing expert input on controlling and financial matters.

What this position is not:

Not a role focused solely on reporting or recurring Excel tasks.
Not a position where processes and systems are “finished” and only need maintenance.
Not a purely back-office function, removed from operational reality.
Not limited to transactional activities without strategic impact.

Type of contract: Full time position with 38.5 hours/week

Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 3654,05 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 h/week), with a planned significant overpayment of EUR 5000-5500 depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

Your profile

Academic degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Controlling or Accounting.
3+ years of experience in a controlling role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems (experience with BMD is a plus) and BI tools.
Solid understanding of commercial and production-related processes.
High analytical capability with a strong affinity for numbers and digital processes.
Structured thinker who enjoys optimization, innovation, and working with complexity.
Commitment, precision, and conscientiousness in delivering results.
Excellent English communication skills and a very good command of German.
Project management experience and the ability to drive improvements end-to-end.
